We are recruiting for a Commercial Sales Representative to join our dynamic team servicing the Limpopo area.
The Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales objectives in the correct product mix, volume, turnover, profit and average net selling price objectives for the region. Grow market share within region and maintain good customer relationships. Continuously identify opportunities to grow channel footprint and will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales objectives in the correct product mix, volume, turnover, profit and average net selling price objectives for the region.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job function includes but are not limited to the following:
To meet designated region sales targets:
- Grow customer base
- Continuous monitoring of sale achievements to seek out opportunities to fill gaps in the market to maximize sales.
To ensure all service-related queries are carried out:
- Ensure that all customer complaints or queries are resolved in a timely manner by liaising with all the necessary stakeholders
Customer Service:
- Assist and monitor customers marketing campaigns
- Ensuring high levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction
- Assist in arranging relevant training to customers (Product Knowledge)
- Assist with marketing waves
- Monitor turnover commitment of customers
- Assist customer with DSP as well as the dealer portal
- Assist customers with technical support
- Ensuring that customers have sufficient credit limit to reach turnover targets
Training customers and counterhands:
- Assist customers and counter heads with training of all the SRSA products and ensure knowledge of our products
- Assist customers with DSP and dealer portal training.
Infield service support:
- Tyre evaluations
- CPK analysis
- Scrap tyre analysis
- Route studies
- Fleet tyre survey
- Recommend tyre applications and correct tyre pressures
Feedback of market information:
- Competitor pricing, new products, product performance, marketing activities, new stores opening, etc.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum: Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Business
- Preferred: Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business
- 3 years commercial sales experience in the tyre/automotive industry
- Driver’s license Code 08 (Regularly travel local)
Skills and Competencies:
- Tyre Knowledge
- MS Office
- Salesforce experience is advantageous
